Ah, not yet, eh? Well, I look forward to hearing if there are any future developments in this area. 🙂

Melissa wants to get a doggie, but so far we have not done so. For one thing, I’m pretty sure that Lucy would kill us, but also it doesn’t feel like the right time yet. We shall see.

I love when Abe reminds us to “go pet the cat.” Although, as you mention, it totally has to be on the Guru’s timetable. The sweetest thing, for me, is when the Guru comes to interrupt me and whatever I’m doing so that she can get a little love. It’s a great reminder for me to pause and just relax into the love that’s all around me – especially in the form of a purring, thirteen-pound bundle of love and affection.

So I stick with my guru Abraham-Hicks, who often suggests, when we’re feeling uptight, to go “pet your cat.” Of course, that’s assuming that if a person has a cat like Lucy, the critter is in the MOOD to be petted at that moment. 🙂

As for fleeting pleasure, my guru says that there is always more waiting in the wings. More good things. More happy moments. More amazing manifestations. All we have to do is line up with all those pleasures by feeling good FIRST, and they will come — one after another, more, more, more.

In fact, Abraham says that the mantra of non-physical in “more.”

I know, it’s a perfect solution for the Guru, isn’t it? Maybe she’s a 4 on the Enneagram. Though she has some 8 in her as well. Meanwhile, her antics allow me to continually practice non-attachment. Breathe in pink, blow out black. . . . 🙂
