As creative people usually learn eventually, people are fickle. They can adore you one week, abhor you the next. Creating for the sheer joy of the journey is the best way around that. 🙂

I guess it’s something every creative person has to learn – how to let other people’s reaction to our work roll off our backs. I’ve found that both “positive” and “negative” reactions can trip me up.
