Queerly Beloved is a retreat created for trans and queer folks by trans and queer folks.
Together, we’ll gather in a peaceful setting and root ourselves in community to celebrate the individualized expression of the Divine in each of us.
We’ll explore practices of grounding, trans and queer joy, and community care through music, meditation, intentional movement, workshops, ceremony, and communing with nature.
Come to connect, commune, and celebrate in a queer Spirit-led affinity space. This is a place to be authentically YOU.
Queerly Beloved Retreat is for LGBTQIA2S+ adults (18+), centering gender-expansive (trans, nonbinary, etc.) voices and experience. During a time when the sociopolitical climate weighs heavily on trans lives, we choose to come together in love and resilience.
We honor both the grief and the beauty of our journeys, while remembering that our existence is a gift.
This retreat is a pause from the noise—a place where trans and queer people are held, celebrated, and uplifted in our wholeness.

Tamarack Adventure and Retreat Center, Ortonville, MI
Cost: per person rates include:
- Full Queerly Beloved retreat program
- Three nights comfy lodging
- Nine delicious meals (Thursday dinner through Sunday lunch)
- Access to Tamarack’s gorgeous grounds
Cost does not include transportation to and from Tamarack.

- Early Bird Registration is by June 1, 2026. If using a payment plan, your first installment is due by April 1, 2026.
- Regular Registration is by July 15, 2026. If using a payment plan, your first installment is due by May 15, 2026.
- Late Registration is from July 16, 2026 - August 20, 2026.
If you are interested in sharing a room with a specific person, please note their name on the registration form.
Rooms are subject to availability. We will contact you if your room choice is no longer available.

How to Get There
There are several options to get to Queerly Beloved.
If you are flying into Michigan from out-of-state, please book a flight to the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. Your flight should be set to arrive no later than noon on Thursday, September 3 (arrival day).
To get to Queerly Beloved from the airport, you will want to rent a car and/or carpool with others. It is just over an hour from the airport to the retreat center via I-75 S and I-94 W.
Check out our carpool document HERE to find a ride or give a ride. We don’t manage the carpools, but we do provide this opportunity so that people who are willing drivers and people who are looking for rides can find each other.
Please factor transportation into your planning to be sure you arrive on time and stay for the full retreat.
