Meet the Leadership Team

Rev. Christine Monks (she/her)

Rev. Christine Renée Monks is a licensed minister with Centers for Spiritual Living, certified life coach, transgender activist, and public speaker. She currently serves as a staff minister with the Center for Spiritual Living Colorado Springs. She holds a Master of Arts in Consciousness Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Construction Management. Since she transitioned from male to female in 2017, she has found her voice in ministry, choral singing, and trans advocacy. She speaks frequently on Trans topics to groups interested in understanding the transgender journey more fully. She is a grandmother, father, pilot, and FAA-certificated instrument flight instructor.

Her life’s noble purpose is to authentically share her gender dysphoria journey with the world to foster greater empathy and acceptance between the cisgender and transgender communities.

Crystal Collins (they/them)

Hey, I’m Crystal. I’ll be around supporting the tech needs of the event. 

I’ve been an audio engineer for a decade and in corporate live streaming for 3 years. I use my skills to support non profits who seek justice in the world. I like rocks. I like fire. I like water. I also love sound. Come om with me in the chill room.

Lu Evergreen (they/them)

Lu Evergreen is a God-loving, nature loving, genderqueer social worker. Lu was raised Jewish and found their way to New Thought practices and traditions in 2009 after attending a Sunday service at the Bodhi Spiritual Center in Chicago for the first time. Lu has centered their life around maintaining their own inner peace through spiritual practices so they can show up as their highest Spirit-led Self for those who are in need of love and compassion in this world.

Lu is currently a student in Advanced Consciousness Studies, working toward their Religious Science Practitioner License. Additionally, they are a licensed social worker and have worked in the mental health field on and off for several years. Currently Lu works with transgender adults in a medical system to help folks access gender-affirming care. Lu is interested and committed to helping create systemic changes that will make this world a friendlier place for those on the margins of society. Lu loves to commune with nature and recognizes the power of Spirit that shows up through hugging a majestic tree, marveling at the sight of a magnificent sunset or sleeping under a starry night sky.

Kamo Grant Adventure (he/him/they/them)

Kam Grant identifies as a nonbinary, neurodivergent, transgender, queer healer in the world. He works as a practicing spiritualist at local psychic fairs, and a medium in the energetic cosmos.

Grant offers healing to his community with services that help with the processing of major traumas and queer based issues, through spirituality and magic practices. As the owner and founder of Grant’d Services, they offer spiritual practices such as: fortune telling, animal communication, divination reading, friending shadows, energy healing, candle and spell work, and energy transmutation. He often works with animals in nature, and his companion is a small dog named Taco.

Grant loves to make and share his artwork, poetry, and story telling.  He believes showing love through artistic expression can help heal the world. He has spent years traveling the nation and expanding his knowledge of queer spaces and community, to bring the best parts back to Michigan and smaller rural areas.  Grant opened the Queer Exchange Livingston County chapter, and is dedicated to bringing queer community together in all areas of Michigan. Grant has a small queer family in Ypsilanti MI, and works on fixing houses and teaching the skilled trades to his queer community when he is not doing spiritual work. Viewing trans joy as a protest to the patriarchy, KamGrant is committed to making the world a better place, one queer action at a time.

Rev. KC Taylor (they/them) 

Rev. KC is the senior minister of the United Life Center for Spiritual Living (CSL) in Oklahoma City. In service to this community over the last four years, Rev. KC has spearheaded drag shows, Singo, and Spiritual AF, a weekly community space. Rev. KC’s ministry began in 2018 as the senior minister and co-founder of Spirit Uncensored. Through Rev. KC’s leadership, Spirit Uncensored became home to NextGEN, CSL’s global support community for people between the ages of 18-35. Prior to ministry, Rev. KC was a TV Creative Executive at JuVee Productions, Viola Davis and Julius Tennon’s production company in Los Angeles.

Rev. Dr. Melissa Phillippe (she/they)

Rev. Dr. Melissa Phillippe (she/they) is a singer-songwriter and teacher with nine albums of original music in release. She is also an ordained minister with Centers for Spiritual Living, holding Master’s Degree in Consciousness Studies. In honor of her service in the music and healing arena, Melissa was awarded an honorary doctorate from Centers for Spiritual Living in 2010. Melissa is also a Mentor of the Toltec Path, personally trained by a shaman in that tradition.

Melissa’s passion is to help people transform their thinking and their lives. Her mission is to support people in awakening to the awareness of their Divinity. Hope and healing are the common threads running through Melissa’s work. Her history of trauma and drug addiction continues to inspire her journey, and her 35+ years of sobriety have provided a wellspring of awareness and compassion that she uses in all her work.

Rev. Rainbow Weldon (she/her)

Rev. Rainbow Weldon is an ordained minister with Centers for Spiritual Living and serves as the Spiritual Director at Ahava Center in Lexington, KY.

Rainbow is deeply committed to building queer-affirming spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, valued, and empowered. Rainbow’s heart of service and sacred activism shines through her ministry, from founding the “Rainbow Alliance” in Albion, MI to building interfaith connections in the Bluegrass with Lexington Affirming Faith Coalition and Building a United Interfaith Lexington through Direct Action (BUILD).

Rainbow’s life is a reflection of the joy and freedom she encourages in others. When she isn’t speaking, teaching, coaching or creating sacred community experiences, you can find her dancing, crafting, biking, or exploring the beauty of nature with her 10-year-old daughter. She is a proud plant parent to a growing indoor jungle and a devoted mom to four quirky cats.

Rev. Z Egloff (they/them)

Z Egloff is a writer, cartoonist and spoken word artist. They are also the award-winning author of the spiritual humor blog, Life in ZD: A Goofball’s Guide to Enlightenment. Before exploring their artistic side, Z spent over a decade in the healing professions. They worked in a variety of venues, from counseling centers to case management with high-risk youth.

Z’s career as a creative began with the publication of their novel Verge, in 2008. A second novel, Leap, was released in 2012. Z was awarded the Bywater Prize for Fiction in 2008 and an Independent Publisher Book Award in 2014.

Like Melissa, Z holds a Masters Degree in Consciousness Studies from Centers for Spiritual Living. They also hold a Masters Degree from J.F.K. University in Spiritual Counseling Psychology.
