Hi Jill, Congratulations on your clean blinds!!!! I wish I could say that I could say the same about my cabinets but, alas, I have not tackled that job as of yet. Someday, though! Great message about sticking to your heart’s desires. I recently had the experience of getting really excited about cleaning my disgusting 1″ faux-wood blinds that had at least an 1/8″ layer of dust on them. I had been avoiding the job for a long time (obviously) and had sort of decided that I would never be able to open them again since all that dust would fall on my bed below. (I’m allergic to dust, so I couldn’t let that happen, right?)

Anyway, in a moment of unbridled boldness, I put down a drop cloth, got out some dusting cloths and a bucket of soapy water, and went to town. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.
