I, too, have experienced the ability of Spirit to be present in the music, tv dialogue, just everything. My car sit in meditation with me and participates in the out picturing of the answers posed during contemplation or prayer. One day when I was not feeling loved, I was never more freaked out from the dialogue between two characters on a soap opera. One character was saying the words from my mind and the other was giving words of comfort and support, speaking universal truth. Of course I stopped and listened and knew it was just for me. I was amazed and uplifted when their conversation ended. I knew it was for me. Regarding my car, there is a little extra touch of love from it to me. After placing my seat belt on and it engages, once the car moves forward in the drive, there is a gentle snuggling pull from the seat belt around my body. And when this happens, it’s like that touch of I love you and care that you are safe. YES, Spirit is in Everything, the doorway to Everything. Thanks.

I had a very similar experience on my long walk this weekend with Pandora’s Violent Fems raidio station which happened to play a fair amount of Radiohead and Sublime. My go to Bob Dylan station is my warm blanket, and the Violent Fems were my magic. I am sure there is plenty of Spirit in both the algorithm and your metaphor. Thank goodness for magic and warm blankets, and thanks for the reminder, Z!

I am working on an abundance mindset to keep the magic alive in my spiritual practice. Specifically, I am working hard to catch my students being good. It is so easy to start trolling for infractions and catch them being bad — these kids today with their rock’n’roll!!! — but it does take some mindfulness to look for the good. Of course when I look, it is always there, and what a joy it is for them and for me to point it out to them. They missed it, too.

I’ve been making playlists, on Spotify and using this to recharge my spirit batteries. I even bought a Bose Bluetooth speaker which I can take with me everywhere.

In April I lost my little chihuahua, Clarabelle. She gave me so much heartfelt spirit everyday. Saddened yes, but I just couldn’t drop my spirit numbers by moping around. We went right to work, that’s Clarabelle and I, putting up pictures and creating her own spiritual shelf with her ashes and favorite chew stick. She concurred this is what we needed and now the spirit is at 100% again. Yea for our team!
