I appreciate your comment and your perspective. For the record, I don’t like the word God either – to me, it brings to mind an old, white, mentally ill dude in the sky. And I also get that, for you, the whole Higher Power thing doesn’t work for you. Which is awesome, as you have found a path and a way that fits for you. I’m definitely not about proselytizing – if the Higher Power gig works for you, awesome. If not, then that’s awesome too. So thanks for sharing your perspective! We love you lots too!!! šŸ™‚

I read your piece on higher power. This is a bone of contention in my life. I have never had that aha moment when you realize there is something greater than yourself. I do not believe in a higher power per se. In my Buddhist practice there is not a higher power since it would signify ego. I struggle with words such as, spirit, practitioner, God. I do not use the word God since I do not believe it. Source is another word expressing a higher power. I was told once at an AA meeting I had to have a higher power or the program would not work for me. So injury wanted to share my experience and feelings and soooooooo appreciate your food for thought. Love you and Meli lots.
