I guess I don't get out enough because I can't remember when I last saw a freshie couple. I witnessed something powerful on the bus yesterday though. I woman who is often highly agitated and muttering hateful things, was invited to sit next to the man in the seat in front of me. It was obvious that they knew each other and he kindly helped her settle her backpack and bag of cans/bottles. He then put his arm around her and listened to her still agitated talking, every so often speaking quietly in her ear. She grew calmer and quieter, and by the time they got to their stop, she thanked the bus driver and wished me a great day. It was magical!

Good reminder! Also, I'm appreciating the term "Freshie" as well as the current hair-do drawings of you two. Very fun. As always, thanks for sharing valuable tips in such an entertaining way. Mwah!
