Watching my thoughts brings me freedom. When I watch my thoughts, I can catch myself in the act of less-than-kind self-talk. The act of observing negative chatter brings me one step away from it. I can stop, regroup, and think again! As I cultivate kindness inside my head, I have less need to reach for substances to feel better. I feel better all by myself. Today, I watch my thoughts.
