About 6 weeks ago, I started a new journaling practice of listing 3 things I appreciate or am grateful for. I write the day of the month and then my 3 things… soon, I have a whole sheet of things I appreciate. I have never liked this before when I tried it. For some reason this time, it worked. The other day, I was feeling irritable so I wrote “Grateful that I show up even when I can’t think of anything to appreciate.” and then was able to list 2 more. The first one made me chuckle and then I was closer to a frequency of appreciation! Cheers!
