My perceptions are a mere sliver of the total number of possible perceptions and views of the world. And while it’s important to honor my views and my truth, it’s also important to widen my awareness to consider views and perceptions other than mine. I don’t have to agree with them. I don’t have to like them. I simply need to consider them. In the process, my life expands.
