When someone is talking about me, they can’t help but talk about themselves, even when they don’t realize it. Everyone has their unique, subjective view of the world, shaped by their experiences and opinions. This is especially good to remember when someone is telling me something that is hurtful or inaccurate. I take what I like and leave the rest, even if the “rest” is everything they said!
