Martyrdom may have been a spiritual path for some in the past, but it’s not for me. Spirit loves me, and Spirit wants me to be happy. As I find spiritual practices that make me come alive, I am strengthening the awareness of Spirit in the world. And as I find spiritual practices that I enjoy, I am more likely to keep doing them, thus assuring that I can contribute to the upliftment of humanity.
