When I mess up, or think I messed up, it’s easy to focus on what I did wrong. But there’s another way. I can turn my attention to all the things that went well in the “disaster.” My strengths, my gifts, my lessons. Then, from this wider, more objective perspective, I can brainstorm areas of improvement. Coming from a place of strength makes it easier to find – and act on – any adjustments.
