Fear can have a momentum of its own. One fearful thought leads to another, and another. Before I know it, fear is driving my life. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Today I stop fear in its tracks. I remember that Spirit is in charge. I ask Spirit for Help, and I open to this Help in all the ways it wants to come to me. I am open. I am teachable. I am held and guided by Spirit’s love.
No better place to meet fear than in pre-op for decompression spinal surgery. Today, my consent form listed possible outcomes of death, blindness, paralysis, and loss of the Disney Channel. Couldn’t say the James Dillet Freeman Prayer for Protection fast enough! My surgery went extremely well and pretty much fear free.
