Anger and agitation have a way of bringing out the worst in me. When I find my thoughts and emotions getting heated, I take a break. I may sit with my eyes closed. I may walk slowly and consciously. Whatever form of meditation I need to do, I do it. As I calm my mind and body, I come back to center. From this more grounded, centered place, I know what to do. Or not do. And I am grateful.
