Spiritual practice means that my divine side and my human side get to have a little party. Sometimes my human side tries to take over. It brings its distractions, judgments, and grievances to the festivities. Luckily, my divine side is patient with my human side. It makes room for my human diversions, and then steps beyond them. Into a world of peace. And calm. And expansive love. Now that’s a party.
