Plans are beautiful things. They give me structure and help me move forward. But plans are ultimately just that – plans. They’re theoretical constructions, and when my plans meet reality, reality always wins. Today I give thanks for reality. I give thanks for the feedback it provides. I get to see which parts of my plan worked, and which parts need updating. I may call the updates “mistakes,” but I’m really just learning.
