Sometimes the person in my mind and the person in real life are not the same thing. When I find that someone is a better friend to me in my mind than in real life, it’s time to reevaluate. Do I feel safe with them? Do we encourage and inspire each other? Can we celebrate each other’s successes? If not, it might be time to release the friendship. That way, my friends in my mind can match my friends in the world.
