Learning to set boundaries is a process. At first, I realize I need to set boundaries because not having them is causing pain for me and others. Then, when I first set a boundary, it might not feel good. I might feel guilty and conflicted. But with time, I get used to setting boundaries. I see how effec­tive they are. I see how they create freedom for me and others. And I wonder why I waited so long!
