My mind is a chatty thing. Indeed, meditation shows me just how chatty it is. Meditation also helps me to create a little space around my chatty mind. The more I can sit and simply listen to the chatter, the more I can begin to step back from it. Little by little, space and peace grow in my mind. Even on those days when all I seem to do is listen to the chatter, I am making a way for peace.
