Detours are Spirit’s way of working magic. It might not feel like it in the moment. It might feel like I’m being thwarted. But that’s never the case. Whenever my plans appear to be blocked, I can be assured that Spirit is at work, coming up with something better than what I had in mind. Today I remember to trust Spirit’s timing. I trust that what appear to be “detours” are Spirit’s way of loving me.
