Trying something new can be intimidating. But when I take things slowly, it’s less overwhelming. I pick up a foot and place it just a little bit in front of me. Then I rest. How did that go? Not so bad! Okay, let’s try the other foot. I pick up that one and place it a little bit further. That wasn’t so bad either! And so I move forward, slowly and surely, feeling safe and relaxed every step of the way.
